Camera app for high quality images
Does Poor Quality Block Your Shots?
Today, the camera is the biggest attraction in most smartphones. Because of the love of social media, people take a lot of pictures every day. You need these photos to look excellent so that when you edit them, they look even more fantastic. RAW files offer excellent image quality than conventional JPEG. Although a feature is only available on expensive DSLRs, apps have made it a lot easier to shoot RAW files with regular Android and iOS devices.
Here are some of the best camera apps to help you with your photography efforts. These apps can handle RAW files and take a unique perspective to shoot, managing and editing these photos on the device.
Adobe Lightroom CC Android, iOS
This app doesn’t need much introduction. Like the desktop version, this is a post-production studio and a digital asset manager (DAM). This essentially means it can handle almost any image. Better yet, it can handle proprietary RAW formats or even capture the RAW pictures directly using the inbuilt camera option on the app. Although the app is free, you can get a subscription for sync purposes.
VSCO (Android, iOS)
Starting as a simple app to add film filters to photos, the app has grown into a fully-fledged behemoth with more than 50 available filters to choose from. Apart from accepting RAW images, the app can also use the integrated camera. This, of course, makes this one of the best apps to shoot and edit RAW files on the move. Although the app is free, it only comes with a few samples presets. The rest can be purchased in the app.
Snapseed (Android, iOS)
Although snapseed was acquired by Google about six years ago, they are still operational and run independently. This app has been getting regular updates meaning that it’s continually getting new features. One of its more impressive qualities is RAW picture capture and editing, inbuilt filter, and curves tools.
